It states that the Indian mattress market is estimated at USD 2.31 billion in 2025, and is expected to reach USD 3.48 billion by 2030, at a CAGR of 8.54 per cent during the forecast period. With this growth, many new trends are expected to gain momentum. So, here we decode as to what to expect from the mattress industry in the year 2025 and the market trends that will dominate the scene.

1. The same mattress out there! Certainly not.
While the basic need of the customer would remain the same that is a mattress that ensures maximum comfort, the year 2025 is expected to see a deeper focus on health and wellness as health-conscious customers will be on the rise. This is because people are increasingly realising the importance of saving the environment, so obviously manufacturers will have to work in this direction by manufacturing mattresses using natural, organic and recyclable materials that are free from any harmful chemicals.”
- Brands will take recycling initiatives: Not only using eco-friendly materials, brands will also focus on mattress recycling programs wherein they could take back the old mattresses from the customers and reuse the recycled foam and other materials.
2. Your mattress will become smart.
Advanced technological integration in mattresses that can enhance your sleep experience will also redefine the mattress industry in the year 2025. Simply put, smart mattress market would increase.
- Mattresses enabling sleep tracking would be on the rise: In the coming year, smart mattresses enabled to keep a tab on sleep patterns and equipped with the technology to adjust the firmness based on the user’s sleeping habits will be demanded more.
