In 1995, Flexipol Foams embarked on its journey, establishing a cutting-edge manufacturing plant in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. Spearheaded by Mr. Arun Jaluka, the company made waves in the market by showcasing the diverse capabilities of PU foam. We deliver the highest quality foam for various comfort applications, with a product range spanning visco-elastic foam, latex-like PU foam, high resilience foam, hyper-soft, FR foam, CNC cut mattress cores, solid infused foams, and many others. Recent strides include the launch of our in-house online mattress brand, “UrbanBed,” incorporating the aforementioned innovations. In addition to our brand endeavours, we extend our expertise through white-label services to select brands seeking the exceptional quality of our foam.
Q How do you see the future of PU foam industry in India? How is the industry working together towards ensuring its dominant position in the Indian mattress industry?
The PU foam industry in India is poised for remarkable growth, with total foam production expected to double within the next four years. This surge is attributed to the organized sector’s increased penetration and a rise in per capita foam consumption per mattress. The unparalleled versatility, comfort and cost-effectiveness of PU foam solidifies its position in the mattress industry. Companies are actively exploring export opportunities as well. The online segment’s emphasis on 100% pure foam usage through vacuum-packed mattresses has also become a sought-after feature in the offline market, still largely unexplored. Nevertheless, there is a need to regulate the use of unhygienic and unsafe alternate materials that employ negative advertising tactics to attract consumers.
Q How is Flexipol Foams working towards ensuring circular journey of mattresses?
Actively exploring recycled polyols derived from used PU foam, Flexipol Foams is committed to completing the circular journey of mattresses. Additionally, eco-friendly manufacturing processes are being adopted, with a focus on reducing and eventually eliminating the consumption of methylene chloride, minimizing transportation emissions through compressed packaging, and implementing new manufacturing technologies to increase yields.
