Neend mattress brings in drilled air cool technology to its mattress range
Bengaluru-based startup Neend Mattress is making waves in the sleep industry with its cutting-edge products and customer-centric approach. Neend, which means “sleep” in Hindi, has introduced a range of mattresses designed to cater to diverse sleep needs, including their popular Drilled Air Cool Mattress, which ensures maximum breathability and comfort. The company has also embraced sustainability by incorporating eco-friendly materials into its products. With a focus on innovation, Neend Mattress is exploring smart technology integration, offering features like temperature regulation and personalized firmness adjustments.

“We conducted extensive research and gathered feedback from our customers, who consistently mentioned the struggle with sleeping hot. This sparked our curiosity, and we began exploring ways to address this issue. We drew inspiration from various industries, including aerospace, automotive and athletic wear, where temperature regulation is crucial. Our team of experts worked tirelessly to develop a unique solution that would provide unparalleled breathability and cooling,” says Manjunath hegde, Managing Director, Neend Mattress.
“The Drilled Air Cool Mattress is the culmination of our efforts, featuring a patent pending design that allows for maximum airflow and heat dissipation. We’re thrilled to bring this innovation to the market and help people sleep cooler, more comfortably, and wake up feeling refreshed,” he adds. According to him, enhanced airflow and temperature regulation provides significant advantage, while the strategically drilled holes throughout the mattress, combined with foam, coir and other materials, allow for continuous airflow. This facilitates the escape of warm air and the circulation of cooler air, effectively regulating body temperature throughout the night.
Currently, the product is available in Karnataka and the company plans for both product line expansion and entering new markets. “Our drilled air cool technology provides a strong foundation for growth, and we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead in the Indian market. Our base in Bengaluru provides us with valuable insights into the needs of consumers in warm climates, which will inform our expansion strategies,” says Hegde.
