Q Kindly take us through your business & What are the various business aspects that you have related to the mattress industry? How long you are in the market and what is your USP for the products?

Madhav Cotex is essentially a global company, started in 2011 and it’s been 13 years since its inception. We started our manufacturing by understanding the market through the product availability and quality of the mattress market in India to churn out the required gap that our product can fulfil. But we started delivering the material by the name of Roma Puf in 2019 onwards. It took around 8 years to figure out the best product which we could offer with the best brand strategy and brand idea, we could give to our consumers. This gathered us to bring the product line called Roma Puf in place offering a range of comfort with polyurethane foam mattresses, which is one of the best foam quality products available in the market.

Q What are the quality parameters that you are keeping for your product so that your customers are intact and you are on top of it?

As consumers go with the general ideology of doing the regular like thinking about the mattress comfort and looking for better brands. But as a manufacturer, we focus on the quality of the mattress through metrics of quality indicators like indentation hardness test, cell counting and airflow. These are the regular part of our production process. With the use of the MIMO (multi-in multi-out) system for our manufacturing process by considering the feedback at every step and ultimately with the customer. We then analyse the data collected, by evaluating the outcome and the need for incorporation into the production processing with an assurance of the quality to the end customer.

Q In future, are Madhav Cotex and Roma Puf planning for any expansion? Are there any plans to enter into a new segment in this mattress industry?

In terms of manufacturing, we are expanding to a new Hennecke machine, which is, one of the best, slab stock foaming machines in the industry. Along with this, we are also building a new facility to back the infrastructure. In terms of CRM and sales, we are deploying, newer software in terms of the enterprise resource planners integrated with human AI technologies and other, government websites and portals to offer the customer more transparency in terms of their order process, their invoices and balances checking along with full access to ledger anytime. This will provide hassle-free planning for raw materials, orders and payments providing a happier experience with us. We have invested in a new solar power plant which was earlier around 80 kilowatts and this year we will reach close to 300 to 400 kilowatts of solar power plants.

ISPF is an industry body which promotes importance of sleep and role of mattress for a Indian consumers. ISPF plays very important role in connecting Indian bedding industry ecosystem. ISPF also acts as bridge between India and international players.
