Our forte is in specialisation and we will stick to our craft and continue creating world class technologies and products for the segment of consumers in India who look at sleep as an investment. We not only want to create world class technologies for India but also will represent India as a global creator for advanced sleep technologies.
Q Can you share your thoughts on the industry’s role in implementing sustainable practices within the mattress industry?
Mattresses are a long term purchase. Apart from sustainable manufacturing practices, The easiest and best way a mattress brand can contribute to a sustainable practice is by developing strong lasting products. There is a need for a structured disposal system to dispose of old and over used mattresses. Recycling or repurposing old mattresses can be a great opportunity to protect the environment while providing a good service to the consumer who need not deal with the hassle of disposal.
Q What quality control measures should industry implement to ensure product consistency and customer satisfaction?
Quality control has to start all the way from raw material sourcing to final product installation. Consistency in procurement and processes is key.
Apart from the basic and obvious steps I believe customer feedback post order completion should be paramount to iron out any steps where quality gets compromised.
Systems should be put to place to gather feedback from customers to assess their satisfaction with product quality, comfort, and performance. This data can then be used to identify recurring issues and work in areas for improvement.
